Heat, the Enemy of Food

Some foods go bad really quickly in the summer, as they cannot tolerate the very hot weather. Those foods usually go bad because they’re stored the wrong way. For example, we need to stay away from plastic containers as they affect stored food negatively and make it go bad more quickly. We should also avoid leaving some foods like peanut butter, ketchup and mayonnaise outside of the refrigerator in the hot days, as well as chocolate that should be kept in a dry cold freezer to avoid it being melted. Moreover, some greens wither when left in a hot weather outside of the refrigerator such as, lettuce, parsley, coriander and mint.
