Everybody loves Sambusas in Ramadan. With different and delicious fillings, it’s a favorite and exclusive for Ramadan month. Check the following tips and information about storing Sambusas in the freezer for a longer time period:
1. After preparing, filling, and folding the Sambusa, sort it out according to the filling so that you don’t get confused while frying.
2. Put the Sambusas in air-tight containers or flat plates. Arrange the Sambusas well so that their shape stays intact. A great technique to keep Sambusas separate is to use some flour or nylon paper. Don’t forget to label the container with the type of Sambusa!
3. Freeze equal portions of Sambusa so that you can easily use the portions you need.
4. To get the most taste out of Sambusa, take it out of the freezer, let it thaw for 15 minutes and then fry it in hot oil. To avoid absorption of oil, try dipping it in some milk, then in some flour and then fry it in hot oil. This will give a beautiful golden color on the outside and will make it crispier!
