Garnishing Pies & Tarts

After preparing the tart, start sculpturing the dough with your hand as if you’re dealing with a piece of art or a beautiful painting of yours. Use one of the following methods:
•Braid: shape the edges of the pie or tart in braids by spreading the dough and cutting it into 3 long slices that are quarter centimeter each. Braid the slices and wet the bottom with a few drops of water, then put the braid carefully on the edge of the tray. And Voila!
•Tree Leaves: garnish your pie or tart with fresh fruit, shape pieces of dough into tree leaves, then line the pieces on top. Don’t forget to bend the leaves on the edges to get a more attractive look for your delicious dessert.
•Chocolate Marble: distribute your white chocolate in circles inside the pie, and then make thin chocolate lines using a thin wooden stick. Try this with chocolate and peanut butter pie.
•Chocolate Flower Pie: make the best chocolate flower pie with Goody Kitchen’s simple and detailed recipe.
