Alexandrian Beans with Chili Pepper
Share with your family the deliciousness of Alexandrian beans with chili pepper during Ramadan.
1 Tbsp Goody vegetarian ghee
1 onion, minced
1 Tsp garlic, mashed
1 tomato, crushed
1 large lemon, squeezed
Black pepper/ cumin/ salt
1 Tbsp tahini
1 can Goody beans, mashed with a fork
2 Tbsps Goody chili pepper
- In a pot, melt the ghee, then add the onion, stirring until it turns yellow, and then add the garlic. Add the tomato, stirring then add lemon, spices, salt, chili pepper and tahini. Stir the ingredients for 2 minutes. Add the pureed beans then stir it with the rest of the ingredients for a few minutes. Afterwards, put it in a serving dish. Stir in the olive oil to taste.
