Chicken Cashew is one of the main dishes in Chinese cuisines. With this recipe you are going to prepare the exact original dish with its delicious flavors.
¼ cup sesame oil
¼ cup cooking oil
250 grams chicken, sliced
200 grams broccoli
50 grams flour
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbsp ginger, chopped
1 medium sized onion, diced
1 carrot, sliced
½ cup green pepper, diced
½ cup red pepper, diced
1 cup Goody Roasted Cashew
1 cube Goody Chicken Stock, dissolved in ¼ cup boiling water
¼ cup light soy sauce
¼ cup oyster sauce
1.Cut broccoli into small florets. Wash with water and drain well.
2.Dip chicken slices in flour, making sure to shake of excess flour, and then set aside.
3.In a deep frying pan, heat 2 tbsp sesame oil on high heat. Add 3 tbsp cooking oil. When oil is hot, add the chicken slices and stir fry until golden. Add the garlic and ginger and keep stirring to bring out the garlic and ginger aroma. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
4.In the same pan, add the remaining sesame oil, heat well and then add the rest of the cooking oil. Add the onions and fry until translucent. Add the carrots, green and red pepper. Stir for 2 minutes then add the broccoli and cashew and stir. Return the chicken to the pan and stir, then add the soy sauce, chicken stock and oyster sauce. Mix well until combined and serve.
