Chicken Noodle Soup
The tasty Chicken Noodle Soup with its distinct taste and nutritional value for you and your family.
500g Chicken Thighs, boneless
1 pack of Goody Vermicelli Nest
75 ml Water
2 Tbsps Olive Oil
4 Garlic Cloves, minced
2 Tbsps ginger, grated
4 medium Carrots; cut into rings
Coarse Salt as needed
2 Goody Chicken Stock Cubes, dissolved in 4 cups of Water
1 can of Goody Mushrooms Pieces and Stems
1 cup of Coconut Milk
1 ½ Tbsp Goody Hot Sauce
Juice of 4 whole Lemons
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1 cup of Green Onions, sliced
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat, then add the garlic and ginger; brown them while stirring constantly for a minute or until the garlic turns golden. Afterwards, add the carrots and leave it for a minute, then add the chicken thighs and the water; stir for 20 minutes or until the chicken thighs are cooked. Add the chicken stock and salt; then cover the pot and leave it to boil over the heat for 15 minutes.
- Take out the chicken thighs using the sieve spoon; place them aside for 10 minutes until they cool and then cut the chicken into small pieces.Return the chicken pieces to the stock, and then add the mushrooms, milk, vermicelli, lemon juice, hot sauce and spices. Taste the stock and adjust the amount of spices according to your taste; then leave the pot to simmer for 15 minutes; afterwards, take the pot off the heat and set it aside.
- Pour the soup in the serving dish, then add the green onions and serve hot.
Idea: You can add lemon sticks to garnish your dish and give it a pleasant smell and a delicious taste.
