It’s time for fun and excellence by spending the best times in preparing the “Chili Fries”... for you and your family
2 medium Potatoes, chopped into fingers and fried
2 Tbsps Vegetable Oil
1 medium Onion, minced
1 cup of Beef Meat, minced
2 Garlic Cloves, mashed
A Dash of Paprika and Oregano
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
1 Tbsp Tomato Sauce
3 Tbsps Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp Hot Sauce
½ can of Goody Red Kidney Beans
2 Tbsps Butter
2 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in ½ cup of Water
½ tsp Goody Mustard
1 cup of Cheddar Cheese, grated
½ cup of Mozzarella Cheese
Minced Green Onion for garnish to taste
To Prepare the Meat:
- Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat; then fry the onion and add the meat, garlic and all the spices; stir the mixture for 12 minutes until the meat is cooked. Afterwards, add the tomato sauce, ketchup, kidney beans and hot sauce; stir the mixture for 5 minutes, then take it off the heat and leave it aside.
To Prepare the Cheese Sauce:
- Place the butter and milk in a pot over low heat and let it come to a boil; then add the cheddar cheese, mustard, and continue to stir until the cheese melts; then take the pot off the heat.
- Place the potato fingers on an oven-safe serving dish; then top it with the meat and cheese mixture, and sprinkle the mozzarella cheese. Place the dish in the hot oven for 5 minutes until the cheese melts. Take it out of the oven; then garnish with jalapeño and serve hot.
*Tip: Prepare the cheese sauce before serving immediately, so that the cheese will not become firm.
