Prepare the cold and tasty Crunchy Almond Layers dessert and serve it along with tea or coffee, and enjoy its great taste with your guests.
1 cup of Sugar
1 cup of Almonds, unpeeled and unroasted
4 envelopes of Vanilla Top Whipped Cream
2 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in ½ cup of Water
1 Tbsp Goody Cofique Instant Coffee Classic
1 box of Tea Biscuits, or to taste
3 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in 1 cup of Water (for dipping)
1.Over low heat, melt the sugar and almonds together until they are incorporated and the almonds are caramelized. Let the mixture cool for a bit, then place it inside the freezer until it is frozen. Take it out and cut it into small pieces.
2.In the Jack blender, mix the top whipped cream with the milk and coffee until a foam is formed.
3.Bring a movable base sheet or wrap a normal sheet with parchment paper.
4.Dip the biscuit pieces in milk and stack two layers of biscuits above each other at the sheet’s bottom; then grease with a portion of the top whipped cream mixture; and then stack a layer of the sugar and almond mixture. Repeat the process until you make three layers. Place the sheet in the freezer, and leave it until the layers of biscuit, top whipped cream and almonds are incorporated.
5. When serving, take it out of the freezer and unlock the sheet sides; and in case of using parchment paper, remove the paper and place it on the serving dish. Garnish the sides with the remaining caramelized almond mixture.
Serve this dessert with the Arabic coffee.
