1 stick of butter (100g)
¼ cup of coconut oil
½ cup of sugar
½ cup of Goody Date Spread
2 eggs
1½ cups of sifted flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of vanilla
¾ cup of coconut
1 cup of milk
For decoration:

Shaved coconut


1.In a stand mixer, mix in the butter, coconut oil and sugar until the texture becomes creamy. Add the date spread and coconut and mix well. Add the eggs and the vanilla and while mixing.
2.In a small bowl, mix the baking soda and the flour, then alternate adding the mixture and milk, in two stages.
3.Add the mixture to a large cake pan and bake at 350°F or 180°C for 20 minutes.
4.Decorate the surface with dates using a pastry bag, then sprinkle shaved coconut on top and serve.
