A great recipe; your kids will adore the Elbow pasta with Prawns in Tomato Cream Sauce. Serve after garnishing the dish with lemon zest and chopped parsley… and enjoy its delicious taste.
400g Goody Elbow pasta
350g Goody Napoletana pasta sauce
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
200 gm Small shrimp frozen, defrosted
8 large king prawns, de-shelled and deveined, keeping the tail on.
1 tbsp olive oil
½ lemon juice and zest
150 ml cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley to garnish
1.In a large pan, cook the pasta as per instructions on the packet.
2.In a frying pan, heat the oil and sauté the onions and garlic until they become soft.Add the shrimps and the king prawns.
3.Mix in the tomato pasta sauce and the double cream.
4.Drain the pasta and add to the sauce in the pan. Stir together.Add salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste.
5.Divide into 4 bowls. Place the king prawns on top. Garnish with lemon zest and freshly chopped parsley.
