A delicious and wonderful taste that you’ll adore. Serve the hot steak after pouring the white sauce and black pepper grains.
6 pieces of Entrecote Steak (Australian) with a thickness of 1 cm (available in the meat section at the supermarket)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
2 Tbsps Vegetable Oil
1 tbsp of Butter
1 tbsp of Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove, finely ground
¼ cup of Goody Mayonnaise
¼ cup of Cooking Cream
1 tsp Goody White Vinegar
¼ cup of Water
Salt to taste
1 tbsp of Black Pepper Grains
1.Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
2.Heat oil in a large pan over the heat; add the steak pieces and leave them for 3 minutes or until they brown. Afterwards, flip them on the other side and leave them for another 3 minutes (make sure not to leave the steak for more than 3 minutes on each side, so that it won’t dry). Take the steak pieces off the heat; place them in a bowl and cover it with tinfoil for 6 minutes so that they won’t dry.
3.White Sauce: In a pot over the heat, melt the butter with olive oil; afterwards, add garlic and stir for half a minute or until it turns golden. Add mayonnaise and continue stirring, and then add cream, water, vinegar and salt; stirring constantly.
4.Bring the steak bowl covered with tinfoil and open the tinfoil; you’ll notice that the juice has come out of the meat pieces. Add this juice to the white sauce, and leave it to boil for only one minute and then set it aside.
5.Arrange the steak pieces in the serving dish, and pour the sauce over the steak pieces; sprinkle black pepper grains and serve hot.
•The meat must be covered well, so that it won’t dry and lose its tenderness. It is important to add the juice, as it gives a distinctive flavor to the sauce that you cannot do without.
