Re-live the original taste of the traditional oriental sweets in a very easy way! Perfectly served with Arabic coffee!
250 g Goody Vegetable Shortening
250 g icing sugar
3 tbsp Velor powder milk
500 g plain flour
40 g Halabi pistachio cut into halves
1. Melt the vegetable shortening. Mix the flour with the powder sugar and Velor milk, and then add the melted shortening. Mix them for no longer than 4 minutes on medium speed. Leave the mix for 30 minutes to rest.
2. Form the dough into small balls and put one or two halves of the pistachio on each ball. Put the baking pan in the oven on 200 F for 12 minutes. Get the baking pan out of the oven and leave to cool. Then serve with Arabic coffee.
