A traditional dish with modern tips.
2 cans Goody French style green beans
1 can Goody peeled chopped tomato
¼ kilo minced meat
½ cup olive oil
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, crushed
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp salt
3 tbsp tomato paste
¼ cup fresh coriander, chopped
- In a pan, heat oil. Brown onion till golden. Add meat, cook well, mashing with wooden spoon to break lumps. Cook till water evaporates. Season, add garlic, mix. Add tomato and paste, cook till liquid reduce. Add enough water to cover meat, simmer till thickened. Wash beans and drain, cook for 5 minutes only. Sprinkle fresh coriander.
