Prepare the tasty Hijzai-style Molokhia dish and enjoy its great taste with your guests.
1 kg Chicken Breasts or Meat, boiled with galangal, cinnamon, and cardamom, cut into small pieces
4 bunches of Molokhia, washed, drained and dried from water
Vegetable Oil for frying
3 Medium Onions, fried
3 Medium Tomatoes, chopped
2 cans of Yoghurt
4 Garlic Cloves
1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
3 Goody Chicken Stock Cubes, dissolved in 4 cups of Warm Water
1.In a pot over the heat, fry the molokhia until it becomes crispy, and then place it on the blotting paper until it completely dries.
2.In an electric mixer, blend the fried onions, tomatoes, yoghurt, and garlic well.
3.In a pot over the heat, heat the oil, then add the chicken pieces and stir. Add the chicken stock and the onion-tomatoes mixture and stir, and then leave it to boil for 5 minutes; stirring constantly. Afterwards, add the molokhia and let it simmer for 30 minutes; serve hot beside the rice or bread.
