Ingredients

2 cans of Goody Lebanese Fava Beans

2 Garlic Cloves, mashed

1 tsp Cumin, ground

1 tsp Coriander, dry

1 tsp Salt

Juice of 1 whole Lemon

1 can of Chickpeas, washed and drained

1 medium Tomato, finely minced

¼ cup of Parsley, minced

Dash of Cumin and Black Pepper for garnishing

¼ cup of Olive Oil or to taste

Method

  1. Place the Fava beans in a pot over the heat, and then add the garlic cloves, cumin, dry coriander, salt and lemon juice… leave them to simmer for 10 minutes, while stirring from time to time; and then take it off the heat…now pour the Fava beans in the serving dish.
  2. Garnish the Fava beans with chickpeas, tomatoes and parsley with a dash of cumin, black pepper and olive oil; and serve hot.
