Ingredients

3 cup flour
1 cup Goody ghee
3 tbsp. Velor condensed milk
3 tbsp. powdered sugar
½ tbsp. Baking powder
1 pack Velor cream
3 tbsp. sesame
Caster sugar for decoration
Spices:
½ tsp fennel
½ tsp St Lucie cherry
½ tsp anise
½ cup warm water
Date ingredients:
½kg date paste
3 tbsp. Velor condensed milk
1 tbsp. sesame (to taste)
¼ cup butter
1 tsp cardamom

Method

1.In a deep bowl, stir the flour with the sugar and milk.
2.Make a hole in the middle of the mixture, and add the sesame and spices.
3.Heat the ghee then add the sesame and spices. Leave it for a minute, then stir the ingredients well, and then leave the mixture to cool off.
Add the baking powder and cream and knead well, then put water and combine the mixture.
4.Date preparing process:Blend the date with the milk, sesame, cardamom and butter well, and make balls out of it to taste.
5.Take a piece of the dough and spread it, put the date in it, and shape it to taste.
6.In a bread pan place a parchment paper and lay the dough pieces filled with date.
7.Heat the oven to 200° from below, then place the pan in the oven for 20 – 25 minutes, or until the dough color turns light gold.Leave the pan to cool off, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and then serve it.
