2 cup of All-Purpose Flour
4 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in 1 cup of Water
½ cup of Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp Yeast
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Sugar
A sheet greased with Olive Oil
Thyme Mixture:
4 Tbsps Thyme, dry
1 Tbsp Sumac
4 Tbsps Olive Oil


1.Mix the dough ingredients in the electric kneader at a medium speed for 12 minutes, and then leave it to rest at room temperature for an hour.
2.Heat the oven at 250o
3.Mix the thyme mix ingredients in a separate bowl.
4.Divide the dough into 4 parts, and then divide each part in half. Shape each half into a ball; and then roll it out in form of a circle with a 4 cm diameter. Afterwards, Add 1 ½ spoon of the thyme mix on top of the dough and spread it with the back of the spoon. Place the Manakish disc on a slightly floured flat dish… now place the Manakish discs in a sheet greased with oil, and bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until the dough’s edges are browned, and then serve.

Note : You have to heat the oven at high temperature before placing the dough in order to give the best results when baking the Manakish and the Pizza.
