Marshmallows Ice Cream

Three kinds of your children’s favourite (chocolate, marshmallows and cream) all in one cup of ice cream.

5 egg yolks
1 cup granulated sugar
3 cups cream
8 tbsp Velor powder milk dissolved in 2 cups water
a pinch of vanilla powder
2 gelatine leaves soaked in water
1 tbsp Goody Arabic syrup
some drip strawberry flavouring
2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup small white chocolate buttons


1.    Whisk egg yolks and sugar until smooth. Whip the cream, milk and vanilla powder. Pour into a saucepan and let the mixture simmer, not boil!, until it has thickened slightly, about 15 minutes. Mix in the syrup and strawberry aroma. Set aside to cool, add the soaked gelatine leaves then set the batter in the fridge and let it cool down completely. Preferably overnight.
2.Run in ice cream machine to smooth ice cream, about 40-45 minutes. Run in marshmallows and chocolate when there are 5 minutes. Place ice cream in a well-chilled bowl with lid in the freezer for an hour before serving.
