Toast provides one of the best fried pastries. With a fine filling, you will serve an unmatchable snack.
20 slices toast bread, sides cut
Oil for frying
2 cans Goody light meet Tuna in sunflower oil
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 clove garlic, crushed
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp Goody Mustard
½ can Goody sweet Corn
2 eggs, beaten
Lettuce, finally chopped for garnishing
1. Put 2 slices of toast on top of each other. Roll firmly with a rolling pin to stick them to each other well. Cut in circles using a round cutter. Dip doubled circles in eggs then breadcrumbs. Fry in oil till golden on both sides.
2. In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice and corn well.
3. When cooled, cut golden circles in half to form small pockets. Fill with tuna mixture. Cover revealed part with lettuce. Serve.
