1KG Minced beef
1 tsp salt
½  tsp freshly ground black pepper
½  tsp meat spices
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup fresh parsley leaves, minced
For the side:
1 small onion, halved and sliced
 ½ cup parsley leaves, sliced
1 tablespoon sumac
For the Sauce:
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 can Goody sieved tomatoes
1 red bell peppers, finely chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
12 mini shamy bread


1.In a large mixing bowl, add the minced meat, salt, pepper, meat spices, garlic, and parsley, Mix together all the ingredients until well combined. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour before shaping
2.Start shaping Kofta on skewers to be not more than 5cm in length. Place kofta in the refrigerator until done with the Tomato sauce
3.For the side mix the ingredients in a small mixing bowl. 
4.In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, heat oil, add the onions and cook for 3 minutes, add the garlic and cook until fragrant, add the sieved tomatoes, red bell pepper, salt and pepper and mix, cook until warm. Remove from heat
5.Heat grill on high heat, start grilling the kofta for 15 minutes until cooked through
6.Place 1 Kofta in the mini shamy bread and add 1 tablespoon of the tomato sauce on top. Serve with the parsley mix on the side.
