Mini Tuna Mayo Sandwich
For pastry lovers, here is the delicious "Mini Tuna Mayo Sandwich” snac for you and your family.
1 cup of All-Purpose White Flour
1 cup of All-Purpose Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Yeast
¼ cup of Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp Sugar
4 spoons of Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in ½ cup of Water
2 cans of Goody Tuna in Olive Oil
4 Tbsps Light Mayonnaise
Juice of 1 whole Lemon
3 medium Cucumbers; cut into thin rings
3 medium Carrots; cut into thin rings
A Dash of Salt and Black Pepper
1 cup of Vegetable Oil
- To Prepare the Dough: Place all the dough ingredients in an electric dough kneader; continue to knead for 10 minutes at medium speed; afterwards, put the dough in a pastry bag and let it rest for an hour.
- To Prepare the Filling: In a deep bowl, mix well the tuna, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and black pepper until you obtain an incorporated mixture.
- Roll out the dough using a 4-cm diameter round cutter.
- In a deep pot, heat the oil over medium heat, then fry the rounds for 4 minutes until they swell up and turn golden, and then leave them on kitchen paper to absorb the remaining oil.Cut the sandwiches sideways in half and put a tablespoon of the filling inside it; repeat the process until the amount runs out. Afterwards, place the sandwiches on the serving dish, then garnish with cucumbers and carrots and serve.
