A delicious, rich and distinct meal with a new taste, the Mini Tuna Musakhan for you and your family
2 cans of Goody Light Meat Tuna in Sunflower Oil
2 cups of Onions, finely minced
2 Tbsps Sumac
¼ cup of Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp Salt
½ tsp Black Pepper
2 cups of All-Purpose White Flour
3 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk
¼ cup of Olive Oil
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Instant Yeast
1 tsp Salt
1 cup of Water
1 Egg Yolk, to grease the Musakhan
1. Heat the oven at 180oC.
2. Mix the filling ingredients in a deep bowl, and set it aside.
3. Mix the dry dough ingredients in another deep bowl; then gradually add the oil then the water; so that the dough will become tender. Cover with nylon sheet and leave it aside for 15 minutes until doubled. Divide the dough into 12 even balls, and let them rest for 15 minutes. Roll out each dough ball to form a circular disk; then place a tablespoon of the filling in the center and roll it lengthwise.
4. Grease the oven sheet with oil, then place the Musakhan pieces; then grease them with the egg yolk using a kitchen brush. Bake the sheet in the oven for 40 minutes or until the dough turns golden.
