2 tbsps vegetable oil
2 medium onions, chopped into squares
½ kilo of meat, cut into pieces, without removing the bones
2 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp salt
1 small envelope of saffron powder
1 tsp saffron thread
6 cups of water
2 cups of prunes, dried
2 tbsps of Goody clear honey
¼ cup of almond slices for garnish
1. In a large pot, add the oil, onion and meat then fry over medium heat then add the spice and the saffron; leave the pot over the heat until the meat sauce dries.Add water then leave them until the meat is well-done.
2. In another pot, add one cup of the meat sauce, stir in the prunes until they are done then pour the honey.Add the prunes to the meat in the pot; leave them until they become homogenous then simmer over low heat.
3. Roast the almond in a little oil, sprinkle over the dish at serving time.Serve and enjoy with your friends.
