All-Purpose Dough Ingredients:
3 ½ cups of Flour
1 tsp Sugar
2 tsps Salt
1 spoon Yeast
1 ¼ cup of Warm Water
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 can of Goody Whole Green Olives
1 whole Egg, whisked


  1. Mix together the flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl.Add the yeast to the water; stir for 10 minutes and then add it to the flour mixture, adding oil. Stir the mixture until the dough is formed. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead for 6 – 8 minutes. Afterwards, place it in a lightly floured bowl and let it rest for a couple of hours.Take out the dough, knead it a little and divide it into quarters; place each quarter on a lightly floured parchment paper; wrap in nylon paper and leave it for 30 minutes.Use one of the quarters and cut it into equal portions; roll it out to become a long curled dough.
  2. Insert whole olives in barbecue skewers, leaving a space between each of them. Wrap the long dough around the whole olives as in the picture, and then place them on a parchment paper in a baking sheet. Grease with the whisked egg, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until they turn golden.
