2 cubes of Goody chicken bouillon
2 tbsps pomegranate molasses
2 tbsps of Goody mustard
1/2 cup of Goody white vinegar
1/4 cup of Goody hot pepper
2 garlic cloves, mashed
Salt and black pepper to taste
6 pieces of lamb shanks
The side dish:
3 potatoes
4 carrots
2 tbsps butter
¼ cup of parsley, minced
Salt and pepper to taste


1.Mash the chicken bouillon cubes using a fork then add them with the pomegranate molasses, mustard, vinegar, hot pepper, garlic, salt and black pepper to a bowl, mix well then soak the shanks in the mixture overnight in the fridge.The next day, remove the shanks from the fridge and put them in an oven baking sheet, wrap the sheet up with tin foil then put it in a preheated oven at 180o C for an hour.
2.Remove the tin foil from the shanks, turn them then return the sheet once again to the oven, turning on the griddle, for 10 minutes until they are slightly browned.Remove the shanks from the oven and place them in the serving dish.
3.ForThe side dish؛Cut the potatoes and the carrots into medium-sized pieces, half boil them then strain well from water. In a pan, put the butter then stir it with the parsley, add the potatoes and carrots; continue to stir until they become golden.Add a pinch of salt and pepper while stirring then add them to shanks in the serving dish, serve hot.
