Pina Colada Trifle

1 can of Goody Pineapple Sliced, drained and reserve the juice aside
¼ cup of Sugar
1 small can of Goody Pineapple Tidbits, undrained
4 Tbsps Nargin Milk Powder
4 Tbsps Starch, dissolved in a cup of Water
4 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in a cup of Starch
1 Velor Canned Cream Plain
1 pack of Ladyfinger Biscuits “usually used in the Tiramisu recipe”
3 cups of Whipping Cream
1 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
Pineapple Tidbits for Garnish
- Place the sliced pineapples in the mixer with ½ cup of pineapple juice, sugar and Nargin milk powder; mix them well for 7 minutes to obtain an incorporated mixture.
- Place the mixture in a pot over low heat, and then add the pineapple tidbits. Leave the mixture over the heat for 10 minutes or until it bowls once more and thickens. Afterwards, add the starch and milk; while continuing to stir for 3 minutes. Add the Velor cream and stir the mixture well until it is well-mixed, then take the pot off the heat and leave it to cool.
- Take a biscuit finger and put it in the pineapple juice, move it quickly then take it out and place it on the serving dish. Repeat the process with the remaining biscuit fingers until a layer of the biscuits is completed in the serving dish; then add a layer of the pineapples followed by a layer of the biscuits until the amount runs out. Refrigerate until the cool completely and it is preferable to leave it for a whole day.
- When serving, mix the cream with the powdered sugar in the mixer for 10 minutes or until the mixture becomes stiff. Garnish the dish with cream and pineapple tidbits, and serve cold.
