Serve the main tasty dish (Shrimp Scampi) rich in carbohydrates, vegetables and shrimps.
1 kg Medium Shrimps, washed and peeled, while keeping the tail
3 Medium Potatoes, boiled and peeled
2 Tbsps Butter, thawed
Dash of Salt and Black Pepper
½ tsp Red Pepper Powder (Paprika)
¼ cup of Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves, finely mashed
½ cup of Green Onions
¼ cup of Green Coriander, minced
¼ cup of Lemon Juice
2 Tbsps Butter
2 Tbsps White Flour
½ cup of Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in 3 cups of Water
1 can of Velor Canned Cream Plain
Dash of Salt
½ cup of Mozzarella Cheese, grated
1.Mash the boiled potatoes well with butter, salt, black pepper, and paprika, and leave them aside.
2.In a pot over the heat, heat the olive oil, then add the mashed garlic and stir-fry them; afterwards, add the green onions and stir until they wilt. Add the shrimps and stir them until their color changes, then add the green coriander and lemon juice and set them aside.
3.In a pot over the heat, thaw the butter, then add the flour and mix until a roux dough is formed, then add the milk, cream and salt; continue stirring until the mixture becomes thick and you obtain a white sauce.
4.In an oven sheet, place the potatoes mixture, then add the shrimps’ mixture; afterwards, cover them with the white sauce, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Place the sheet in the oven until the cheese melts.
You can serve this dish beside (the Goody Spaghettini Extra Thin) after being boiled and stir-fried with a little Butter and garlic.
