2 cups of Whole Wheat Flour
2 ½ cups of Lukewarm Water
1 tsp Salt
2 Tbsps Goody Vegetable Shortening
2 Tbsps Goody Vegetable Shortening
6 Sukkari Dates or any type you prefer
2 Tbsps of Goody Pure Honey

1.Heat the oven at 180oC.
In a deep bowl, put the whole wheat flour, lukewarm water, and salt; knead them together until you obtain a liquid mixture similar to loukoumades. Let the mixture rest for an hour.
2.Place the dough in the sheet, and place it in the oven for 15 minutes or until cooked. Take it out and let it cool a little.
3.Bring a plastic bag, then add two spoons of shortening, and add the dough and knead it inside the bag until the dough becomes smooth. Place it in the serving dish or a food preserver, make a hole in the middle using your fingers; taking care to roll out the dough on the dish’s edges. Garnish the dish with dates, honey and shortening.

1.You can add water or flour according your desired amount.
2.A tawa pan on the heat can be used instead of the oven; however, using the oven allows the dough to become smooth on both sides, and does not let the dough dry. It also helps in cooking it from all sides at the same time.
