Steak Diane

Add the delicious marinated steaks to your dining table. Put the sauce over them, garnish with parsley and serve with potatoes.

Ingredients

1 kg Tenderloin Steaks
1 tbsp of Olive oil
1 tbsp of Butter
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Sauce:
1 tbsp of Butter
1 tbsp of Olive oil
1 whole Onion, sliced
¼ cup of Grape Juice, unsweetened
1 can of Goody Mushrooms Pieces and Stems
1 tsp Garlic, mashed
2 tbsp of Worcester sauce
1 tbsp of Goody Mustard
1 tbsp of Goody Cider Vinegar
¼ cup of Water
½ Goody Chicken Stock Cube
½ cup of Cooking Cream
½ cup of parsley, minced

Method

1.Marinate the steaks in salt and black pepper; place olive oil and butter in a pan over high heat and fry the streaks therein for 2 – 3 minutes on each side. Take them off the heat and place them on an aluminum foil; wrap them for 5 minutes.
2.In the same pan, put the onion slices and stir them for a minute; add the grape juice and mushrooms and stir for another minute. Afterwards, add the garlic, Worcester sauce, mustard, vinegar, water and chicken stock cube, and then leave the mixture over the heat for a couple of minutes.
3.Add the cream and parsley and stir the mixture; add the steaks and stir with the sauce on low heat for 3 minutes.
4.Place the steaks on the serving dish and pour the sauce on top of them. Garnish with parsley and serve.

*You can serve them with potatoes.
