Stuffed Chicken

Ingredients

Rice Filling:
¼ kg Minced Meat
1 cup of Egyptian Rice
½ cup of American Rice
2 Tbsps Vegetable Oil
1 Large Onion, finely minced
1 Goody Chicken Stock Cube, dissolved in 3 cups of Water
3 Tbsps Yoghurt
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
Stuffed Chicken:
1 Whole Chicken
2 Tbsps Goody Natural Sugar Cane Vinegar
1 Lemon, squeezed
4 tsps of Salt, Black Pepper, and Mixed Spices
Garnish:
Fried Nuts
½ can of Goody Mushrooms Pieces and Stems, stir-fried
 

Method

To Prepare the Filling;
1.In a bowl, place the Egyptian and American rice, then add water and leave it soaked for 30 minutes, then drain well. Season with a spoon of salt, black pepper and mixed spices, and set it aside.
2.In a pot over the heat, heat the oil, then add the onion and stir for a bit; afterwards, add the minced meat and stir the mixture until cooked; then season with two spoons of salt, black pepper, and spices. (Keep ¼ the amount of meat for garnishing). Add the rice to the remaining amount of the minced meat; stir together, then add the chicken stock and leave them until the rice is cooked.
To Prepare the Stuffed Chicken:
1.Heat the oven at 200oC.
2.Wash the chicken and clean it well, then season with vinegar, lemon juice, and salt, and leave it for 30 minutes. Wash it with water and dry it well using blotting paper. Season with a spoon of salt, black pepper, and mixed spices from the inside and outside.
3.Stuff the chicken’s hole with the rice mixture, then close it tightly using toothpicks. After stuffing the chicken, season it with a little with the milk and soy sauce mixed together. Put the chicken inside the grill bag, and using a knife, make several openings in the bag so that the vapor will be released. Put the chicken in the oven on the medium rack for an hour and a half. Afterwards, take the chicken out of the oven and take it out of the bag.
4.In the serving dish, place the remaining rice mixture, and garnish with minced meat, fried nuts, and mushrooms; then place the stuffed chicken.

Note:
Return the chicken to the oven to be browned, if you did not obtain the browning color you desired after taking the chicken out of the oven.
