The Tahini Tuna dish is an addition on your table with its striking and unique form; it is easy to prepare and rich with healthy and useful ingredients.
2 Large Tomatoes, hollow inside
2 Tbsps Cheddar Cheese, grated
1 can of Goody Light Meat Tuna in Sunflower Oil
2 Tbsps Liquid Tahini
1 Medium Lemon, squeezed
¼ cup of Water
2 Garlic Cloves, finely minced
1 tsp Cumin, finely ground
1 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp Green Coriander, moderately minced
1.Heat the oven at 150oC.
2.In a deep dish, place the tahini and lemon juice. Stir well and gradually add the water so that the mixture will become homogenous. Add the tuna and the remaining filling ingredients; stir well until the mixture is blended.
3.Stuff the two tomatoes with the prepared tuna mixture and place them in the sheet. Garnish the tomatoes’ top with grated cheese. Place the sheet in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese melts. Take it out and serve. Have a nice meal.
You can serve this side dish with the fried fish or as a meal for children.
