Crunchy, juicy and most of all mouthwatering. Just like a five star restaurant sandwich.
8 slices white toast bread, edges removed
8 slices brown toast bread, edges removed
4 tbsp butter
8 cheese slices
150g beef salami or chicken mortadilla, sliced
2 chicken breasts, marinated in BBQ sauce, grilled and shredded
4 tbsp Goody mayonnaise with ketchup
1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
1. In a shallow pan, melt butter. Fry bread slices on both sides. Set aside.
2. Lay 1 slice of white toast; place a slice of cheese over it then a slice of salami or mortadella. Add some lettuce and cover with a slice of brown toast. Place some chicken over, spread with 1/2 tbsp mayonnaise with ketchup and cover with a slice of white toast. Place another slice of cheese and salami then some lettuce. Cover with a slice of brown toast and secure with 2 toothpicks on the angels. Repeat with remaining ingredients to get 4 towered sandwiches. Using a sharp knife, cut into 2 triangles. Serve immediately.
