Try an irresistible taste, and good times spent in preparing the “Tuna Kabsa”… for you and your family.
1 ½ cup of Long-Grain Rice
4 cans of Goody White Albacore Tuna
2 Tbsps Olive Oil
4 Garlic Cloves, finely minced
1 large Onion, finely minced
1 large Bell Pepper, cut into small cubes
Salt to taste
A Dash of Turmeric, Mixed Spices, Cumin, Cardamom and Black Pepper
1 can of Goody Peeled Chopped Tomatoes
2 Tbsps Tomato Sauce
2 Goody Chicken Stock Cubes
2 cups of Water, boiled
1 whole Dried Lime
- Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat, and fry the garlic cloves and minced onion for 5 minutes until they wilt. Add the pepper, salt, spices, tomatoes and tomato sauce, then stir the mixture and leave it over the heat for 10 minutes.
- Add the tuna and the chicken stock cubes; then stir for a couple of minutes; afterwards, add the rice, water and black lime and stir for a minute. Cover the pot and let it simmer for half an hour until the rice is cooked.Place the rice in the serving dish and serve hot.
