A homemade trendy food. To fulfill the experience, serve with wasabi and soya sauce!
1 1/3 cup short grain rice
1 ½ cup water
4 tbsp Goody white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
½ tsp salt
2 nori sheets
1 cucumber, long stripes
3 tbsp Goody garlic mayonnaise
1 can Goody tuna
Dash of salt and white pepper
Dash of garlic powder
1.Wash rice in cold water and soak for 30 minute.
2.In a small pan over low heat, dissolve sugar and salt in vinegar. Set aside.
3.Drain tuna, place in a bowl and use fork to flack. Sprinkle with white pepper, garlic powder and seasoning.
4.Cook rice for 20 minutes. Set aside covered for 15 minutes.
5.On baking sheet, spread rice. Pour vinegar mixture over rice while still hot, mix and spread flat again to cool.
6.Lay 1 sheet of nori, spread rice over to the edges (use wet fork). Sprinkle with sesame. Turn over to the other side. Place mayonnaise, cucumber and tuna along the wide edge and roll tightly. Using a sharp knife, cut into 6 slices. Repeat with the other sheet.
