3 tbsp olive oil
½ cup onions, chopped
2 spring onions, chopped

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped

2 chicken breasts, cut into small pieces

1 tsp grated lemon zest

5 cups water
2 cubes Goody chicken stock

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp back pepper

¼ cup Goody vermicelli 
1 medium sized carrot, grated
1 medium sized zucchini, grated
2 tbsps sour cream
2 tbsps chopped parsley
2 tbsp chopped cilantro 
Salt to taste


  • Heat oil in a pot. Add the onions, spring onions, ginger, and garlic. Stir fry until onions are translucent.
  • Add the chicken and stir fry until color changes, then add the carrots and stir for 1 minute, then add the zucchini.
  • Pour in the water, and add the chicken stock cubes, lemon zest, soy sauce and black pepper. Leave to cook on low heat for 3 minutes.
  • Add the vermicelli and leave to cook for 5 minutes. Add the lemon juice, parsley, cilantro, sour cream and salt. Stir well and serve.
