Ingredients

4 cups of All-Purpose Flour

2 cups of Semolina

2 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in 1 cup of Water

1 cup of Vegetable Oil

3 tsps Anise, ground

2 tsps Vanilla

1 tsp Baking Powder

1 ½ cup of Water

1 cup of Vegetable Oil for frying

Goody Arabic Sweet Syrup

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients in the electric kneader, then mix at high speed for 12 minutes until the ingredients are mixed and a moldable dough is formed. Shape the dough in form of fingers and pass them through a strainer to take the desired shape.
  2. Heat oil over medium heat in a deep skillet.Fry the fingers for 7 minutes until they are browned; then take them out of oil and dip them the syrup. Place them in the serving plate and have a nice meal!
