A famous, rich and delicious dish loved by the young and old, the Zainab’s Fingers for you and your family
4 cups of All-Purpose Flour
2 cups of Semolina
2 Tbsps Velor Powder Milk, dissolved in 1 cup of Water
1 cup of Vegetable Oil
3 tsps Anise, ground
2 tsps Vanilla
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 ½ cup of Water
1 cup of Vegetable Oil for frying
Goody Arabic Sweet Syrup
- Put all the ingredients in the electric kneader, then mix at high speed for 12 minutes until the ingredients are mixed and a moldable dough is formed. Shape the dough in form of fingers and pass them through a strainer to take the desired shape.
- Heat oil over medium heat in a deep skillet.Fry the fingers for 7 minutes until they are browned; then take them out of oil and dip them the syrup. Place them in the serving plate and have a nice meal!
