Baked Spicy Tuna Samosa



For the Samosa Dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • 2/3 cup of warm water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil


For the stuffing:

  • 2 can Goody Tuna in Brine, drained
  • 3 tbsps Goody Hot Sauce
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup red colored pepper, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Flour for dusting
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil for brushing


    1. For the dough, in the dough mixer, mix all in the ingredients on high speed until well combined and the dough becomes one piece. Remove from the mixer and let rest for at least 30 minutes.
    2. For the stuffing, in a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and mix well.
    3. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
    4. To start working with the dough, dust the surface with the flour take a tablespoon of the dough and roll it out to form a round shape. Add the stuffing and fold the dough to form half a circle, close the tip with water and press with the back of the fork to seal the edges. Repeat with the remaining dough and stuffing.
    5. Lay on a baking tray, brush the Samosas with the oil and place in the oven for 20 minutes until the samosa is cooked and golden in color. Serve.
