1/2 cup White breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Honey
2 pcs Bananas
2 tbsp Brown sugar
1can Goody Velor Canned Cream
1/4 cup Goody Date Spread
4 Medjool dates, finely chopped
Preheat the oven to 180°C and tip the breadcrumbs onto a baking tray. Drizzle over the honey and bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown.
“Slice the bananas in half lengthways and sprinkle over the brown sugar. Use a blow torch to caramelise the sugar. Alternatively,
preheat the grill to 200°c and grill for 5 minutes until the sugar is bubbling. “
Whip the cream to soft peaks. Put the date spread in a small bowl and microwave on a high for 30 seconds.
To serve, top the bananas with the whipped cream, date paste, honey-toasted breadcrumbs and chopped dates.
