Preparation
Step 1
to coat the fish, In a shallow bowl, mix the flour with the spices and set it aside.
Step 2
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and spicesr.
Step 3
Add the egg, mustard and sparkling water, whisk until the mixture is smooth and slightly thick.
Step 4
Gently pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels, then lightly coat each piece in the seasoned flour to form a base layer.
Step 5
Heat plenty of oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the fish fillets until golden and crispy, about 4–6 minutes depending on thickness. Remove and place them on a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 6
To prepare the sauce, mix chopped dill, chopped parsley, lemon juice, and lemon zest with ready-made tartar sauce in a small bowl.
Step 7
On a burger bun , spread some of the sauce, then add a piece of fried fish, followed by a slice of cheese and more sauce if desired, Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately..
